what happens to your child's voice

for the picture to show up, the browser has to listen. when your child reads out loud, the audio leaves this device and goes to Google, which sends back the words as text. we only ever get the text, never the audio.

how this works

to stop the audio from being sent, deny the microphone in your browser's permission. the book still opens — with no voice, the page doesn't turn and the picture doesn't show up.

already have an account? sign in

the account is yours. the child only reads — they never sign in, never set anything up, and are not in here.

this screen needs JavaScript to create the account. if it is already on, reload the page.

the microphone authorization comes in the next step, together with your child's details. before we record a consent, we need to know it's you.
